Josiah's Trophy

Josiah won a 4th place trophy today in the Quad-D Regional Chess Tournament at West Liberty, Ky., in the K-5 division.

February 3rd - Seth's Family Party

Seth is officiallly 11 years old today. He celebrated with a Happy Birthday song played by Will. We also sang Happy Birthday with the Hensons over Skype and blew out the birthday cake. The Hensons did not join us in eating cake! Ha! Wish you all were here! Seth got a beanbag with UK Wildcats to sit on while playing XBox Live.

RA Race Car Event

At Richpond Baptist Church Seth and Will participated in the Annual RA Race Car Event. Seth and Will have been working on their cars on Wednesday nights at church. The boys had a lot of fun racing their cars with boys from other churches!

Possum at the Chaneys

While taking Bella out to potty, we ran across a new friend in our yard. I went screaming into the house leaving Bella outside with the possum. I grabbed my weapon, the umbrella, and managed to hold off the possum while Hannah ran around the front of the house to rescue Barking Bella.

Kansas Hunt

Well, Kelly is at it again in Kansas! Killed a bigggg 10 point buck last week on his annual expedition. Word is that he may have to add on to his house for a trophy room! Way to go Kelly!

Halloween with the Hensons

We celebrated Halloween at Fort Boonesborough campground the weekend of the 25th with the Davidsons. The decorations were awesome and the kids trick-or-treated around the campground. Saw some scary folks!

On Halloween, Micah went trick or treating again, but Josiah chose to go to a football game with his dad. We have way too much candy at our house!!!!!!!!

Sourwood trees in the Smokies

The Sourwood trees were in full color with their colorful berry seeds hanging on each branch. I'm going to plant one of these trees in my yard!

Will's Broken Bone

On Tuesday, October 14th, Will was playing football with the Whitehouses and broke his collarbone. He can't wait to remove his harness. Take a look! He is all smiles now!
